October 2026 Product Update: Smarter Compliance Insights & More Specialized Training
Discover what’s new at EasyLlama, from the latest product updates and features to innovations that simplify compliance, reduce risk, and make workplace training more effective.

Welcome back to our monthly product update 👋
Knowing which training your organization requires is only part of the job.
Admins also need to understand what's at stake when a requirement goes unmet, explain that risk to leadership, and deliver training that every employee can access and complete.
This month, we focused on all three, with a new Executive Summary in Compliance Advisor, the first wave of accessibility improvements to our course slide templates, and 14 new courses covering workplace safety, harassment prevention, and data privacy.
Here's what's new 👇
Bring more clarity and access to your compliance program
A strong compliance program depends on two things: knowing where your organization stands, and making sure training works for the people taking it.
This month's product updates address both, giving admins a clearer view of their legal training exposure and making course content more accessible for learners.
See the bigger picture of your compliance program
Compliance Advisor identifies the legally mandated training requirements for your organization. Now, its enhanced Executive Summary makes it easier to understand those requirements, recognize the progress you've already made, and determine what to do next.
Located at the top of the Compliance Program page, the Executive Summary combines a high-level overview of your program with a new AI-generated Program Summary personalized to your organization's industry, locations, workforce, training assignments, and applicable legal requirements.
Rather than simply presenting a list of mandates, the summary explains what's driving your organization's requirements, highlights training already assigned through EasyLlama, and recommends a specific next step to help prioritize your compliance efforts.
Admins can also review the relevant laws and potential consequences associated with recommended training, then export the complete Executive Summary as a PDF to share with leadership, Legal, or other stakeholders.

The result is a clearer picture of where your compliance program stands, what's already been addressed, and where to focus next, without having to interpret every requirement individually.
Accessibility improvements are rolling out across course slides
Required training should work for every employee who needs to complete it.
We've started a phased update of our course slide templates to bring them closer to WCAG 2.2 AA standards. The first two batches of improvements are now live.
This is part of an ongoing initiative to update all 76 slide templates across the EasyLlama platform and Course Authoring Tool. Additional updates will continue rolling out through January 2027.
Together, these updates help admins understand what their program needs and deliver training that's accessible to more of their workforce.
More Training for Specialized Compliance Requirements
Requirements continue to get more specific by state, industry, and workplace risk, and training has to keep pace.
On October 1, we added 14 new courses to the EasyLlama Course Library across workplace safety, harassment prevention, and cybersecurity and data privacy.

Strengthen workplace safety programs
We expanded our California Injury & Illness Prevention Program training with seven new courses:
- Hand & Power Tool Safety
- Housekeeping & Sanitation Awareness
- Indoor Air Quality Awareness
- Musculoskeletal Disorder Awareness
- Safe Lifting & Body Mechanics
- Vehicle & Pedestrian Safety Awareness
- Walking Working Surfaces
Each course focuses on a specific hazard, making it easier to build out a more complete injury and illness prevention program.
We also added Human Trafficking Awareness: Transportation Services, Maryland, giving transportation organizations in Maryland awareness training built for their industry.
Prevent harassment in professional services
New Harassment Prevention courses are now available for professional services organizations in four states:
- Massachusetts
- New Jersey
- Oregon
- Rhode Island
These courses combine state-specific harassment prevention training with a focus on professional services workplaces.
Protect personal and student data
Illinois Student Data Privacy & Vendor Compliance covers data privacy and vendor compliance responsibilities related to student data in Illinois.
Protecting Personal Information at California State Agencies helps California state agency employees understand their role in protecting personal information.
Together, these additions give organizations more options for meeting requirements tied to where they operate, the industries they serve, and the risks their employees face.
What's next with EasyLlama
Our accessibility work continues, with additional slide template updates rolling out through January 2027.
