Sam Devyver brings deep expertise in building and scaling high-growth B2B SaaS companies to his role as CEO of EasyLlama. As a repeat founder and operator, Sam has led teams through rapid growth, helping modernize traditionally overlooked industries with innovative, user-first products.

At EasyLlama, Sam is focused on transforming compliance and workplace training by making complex regulatory requirements simpler, more engaging, and more effective for today’s workforce.

He works closely with HR, legal, and executive teams to help organizations move beyond checkbox compliance toward measurable risk reduction and behavior change through modern training—helping protect both their people and their business.

Michael Devyver is a leader in AI-driven compliance, bringing deep technical and regulatory experience to his work at EasyLlama. He partners with HR and legal teams to transform compliance programs into intelligent, scalable systems that improve outcomes while meeting evolving regulatory standards.

Previously, Michael worked at Upcall, where he focused on TCPA compliance and scalable communications systems. He also spent time at Amazon contributing to Alexa and other consumer devices, gaining experience building consumer products at global scale. He began his career at Carnegie Mellon University, working on robotics and augmented reality technologies, including early AR glasses.

Michael collaborates with compliance and legal experts to ensure EasyLlama’s platform helps organizations reduce risk, strengthen culture, and better protect their people.

Mark Znutas serves as Chief Operating Officer at EasyLlama, overseeing Operations, Sales, and Customer Success. He is focused on building the infrastructure and teams that drive successful compliance program adoption at scale — and on ensuring every customer receives a consistent, high-quality experience.

Mark brings deep operational expertise from high-growth environments. Prior to EasyLlama, he was an investor at Thrive Capital and spent over eight years at HubSpot, where he played a key role in scaling the company from $75M to more than $2B in ARR.

Doug Johnston serves as General Counsel at EasyLlama, where he leads legal and compliance strategy and partners across the business to navigate complex regulatory challenges and support the company’s continued growth.

Doug has hands-on experience addressing the compliance concerns facing our customers. As a Big Law litigator, Doug led clients through high-stakes cases involving harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, and wage and hour complaints. He advised clients on compliance with laws impacting employers across the United States. As a General Counsel for a global public company and a private equity-backed SaaS giant, Doug advised on global data privacy compliance, emerging AI compliance issues, antitrust regulations, import/export laws, consumer protection regulations, corporate governance and ethics, global employment law matters, IP protection, and mergers and acquisitions.

At EasyLlama, Doug translates that experience into practical, real-world compliance solutions. He leads legal, regulatory, and product alignment to ensure EasyLlama’s training is not just legally sound—but built for how companies actually operate today—helping customers stay compliant, reduce risk, and build stronger, safer workplaces.

Sarah Hamilton is a people leader with over two decades of HR and compliance experience. She has a firm belief that work should be human, supportive, risk-free, and worth showing up for (preferably with a Dunkin' in hand).

Before joining EasyLlama, Sarah spent more than 12 years at Workhuman. There she rose to Vice President of Global Human Experience, where she led people strategy at scale and championed cultures of recognition and belonging. She's also the voice behind OpenDoor HR, a newsletter reimagining HR and the nuances of compliance as something that's genuinely good for people, not just organizations.

Sarah joined EasyLlama because of a shared belief that this isn't 'just a compliance company'. From day one, she saw a genuine desire to make work better and more human. She'll tell you that there's something powerful about building a product for HR leaders when you've lived the job yourself. Sarah brings that real, day-to-day perspective to help shape compliance and workplace training solutions that solve problems she's actually faced.

Lawrence Valenti serves as our Vice President of Product at EasyLlama. With a career spanning mobile games, consumer technology, and enterprise SaaS, Lawrence has built a reputation for delivering products that delight users at scale, launching engaging experiences to hundreds of millions of delighted users - from casual gamers to frontline employees - while inspiring cultures of innovation and value creation.

At EasyLlama, Lawrence partners with fellow technologists, instructional designers, content creators, and go-to-market teams to redefine workplace compliance and cybersecurity training, and become a true compliance partner. Leveraging rapid development, user insights, and cutting-edge AI, his team creates content and features that inspire genuine engagement, reduce organizational risk, and shape workplace culture for millions of employees worldwide.

Before EasyLlama, Lawrence held creative, product, and studio leadership roles at King (Candy Crush), Apple, and GSN Games (Scopely), and served as CCO at Scalio prior to its acquisition. Across these roles, he built and scaled portfolio-wide product and creative teams, bringing data-informed design thinking and full product lifecycle expertise.

Ellen Rataj is the VP of Sales at EasyLlama, she brings 18 years of experience scaling revenue organizations and a clear mandate: grow the business without losing what makes it matter.

She leads with the conviction that teams win when integrity and discipline are non-negotiable — and she builds accordingly. Raising the talent bar. Defining what great looks like and installing systems that drive accountability at scale.

Her focus is to help more organizations build cultures of safety and accountability, without sacrificing the human element.

Mark Kilens is VP of Marketing at EasyLlama who was previously CMO of Airmeet, a leading virtual and hybrid event platform, where he oversaw the global marketing team.

Before that, he was the VP of Content and Community at Drift, where he led the brand, content, creative, and events teams.

Prior to joining Drift, he served as VP of Marketing at HubSpot and founder of HubSpot Academy. He built HubSpot Academy from the ground up, which educated and certified millions of people and helped grow HubSpot to more than $600 million in revenue.
